Still stranded in Denmark

Well, I'm still here - and will be for a while. My flight (originally cancelled from Thursday) is now scheduled for Tuesday. To be honest, I'm not confident that it will actually take off!

Thanks for all the suggestions of travel methods! None are looking that good though unfortunately. Matt and I returned back to Copenhagen last night in a hope our flights would happen today, but they're both been cancelled again. We're staying in the Radisson in Copenhagen and we extended our stays at 9pm last night until at least Monday. From the sounds of it, our hotel is pretty much full.

- The hired Fiat 500 is still here, in the hotel car park. That should gone back to Copenhagen airport Avis last night, but they're closed and I can't reach either the branch of the main UK number to ask them what to do about it! At last count, driving it back to Brussels would be GBP500-GBP1000 one-way hire charge, plus 1000 miles in the smallest car in the world. Not a good choice and considering how tired I am already, it would totally scupper next weeks plans.
- Training it back might be possible if there are any tickets available. Would take 24hrs, but at least we won't be driving. Amex travel services are looking into that one, they have 'quite a long list' of people wanting train bookings so have dedicated a person to make those calls. We should hear in a couple of hours.
- Ferries are all pretty much sold out. I did get an offer from friends in Billund to take me back to Zebrugge tonight, then on the overnight to Hull for Monday am. I'm not very confident of getting on as a foot passenger though. Esjberg ferries sail on Thursday (which was looking like a long time ago - not so much now...), most of the others we can't actually get to unless we take the car (see above!)
- Or, we just wait it out. Copenhagen isn't a bad place to wait, and the hotel room is nice - if small. There's even a LEGO show on this weekend from the local club. My main concern though, is what if we wait it out - and still don't fly on Tuesday?

More updates when I get them, I guess!
