Actually, it's been a very busy sphere - but my finger has finally recovered enough to touch type. At last!
So, some highlights so far. Notes 8 is cool, and I've lots to say about that. But that's been around for a while. Quickr is waay cool, I have alot of respect for that. Connections? Well, we'll see. Sametime 7.5 has a huge amount of coverage, which is fantastic and it's presented as a mature, deployable product (which it is). I expect to see much more of that in the coming year.
My apologies for not blogging as usual. jet lag, finger lag and many other things have really impacted that this year. I've not even made the long list of sessions I had planned to! That was good though, as I've taken the chance to meet up with our partners and suppliers on the show floor, who all have some great things planned for 07. In fact, all in all, everyone that I have spoken to is looking forward to the year. New products that customers can deploy right now, a real marketing push from IBM, and a general feeling that "it's on the up"
So, the only things left today are the next Swan boat heat (12:15, outside the hotels) and Speedgeeking at 17:45. Then, off to the party. Can you believe it's Wednesday already?
