About Me

IBM Lotus Consultant and Business partner, community leader and semi-professional conference speaker.
Coming from a background in IT support and consultancy, my 'traditional' skillset is as a pre/post sales senior consultant and architect. I'm a certifiable geek though, so expect me to be talking about phones, laptops, electronic toys etc as well! Following a spell with one of the largest European IT solutions providers, I span out the Lotus team into a new company back at the start of 2005. After 3 years, at the end of 2007 I completed the sale of this company into Bluewave Technology - creating one of the worlds' most respected IBM Lotus Consultancies in the process.
Going back from being a director to an employee I've had more time to follow the areas I'm passionate about. More recently I've re-started the IBM Lotus UK User Group and have been voted in as Chairman of the Brickish Association which I'll be honest - is a hugely enjoyable challenge.
Oh, and if that second club name didn't give it away, I'm also an AFOL (Adult fan of LEGO) so expect lots of LEGO coverage as well. When I get time for all this, of course!
